Laser Cutting

We use the powerful and efficient TruLaser 3530 for all metal laser cutting projects and jobs. It offers high cutting speeds with minimal downtime.

Machine Specs

Cut sheets up to 20mm thick.
Process sheets that have not been vaporised previously with a film coating.
Machine Bed Size – 3000 x 1500mm

Maximum Cutting Thickness Capacity (depending on the metal type)
Mild Steel – 20mm
Stainless Steel – 16mm
Aluminium – 10mm

Turret Punching

With the TRUMPF TruPunch 3000 we have in-house here at North West Laser & Punch, we can offer metal punching services without any restrictions or limitations. We can work without producing a crap skeleton to better aid universal automation.

Machine Specs

Punch holes in 5mm plates with limited hole sizes on material larger than 3mm.
Punch keyholes and louvres are also available on request.

Bending and Folding

At North West Laser & Punch, we offer a bending service that means you can have metal up to 3m in length and 6mm in thickness.

Maximum Bending Length Capacity
For metal 8mm thick – 1500mm long
For metal 10mm thick – 500mm long
For metal 12mm and 16mm thick – 300mm long

Spot Welding

In addition to our main line of services, we offer additional services such as spot welding. This is a process that is ideal for high-volume production applications. It is used when working on especially thin metal sheets and for metal fabrication when high mechanical strength is necessary.

Powder-Coating

If you want to paint and finish the metal components, parts or components you need, it may be better to use a powder coating. At North West Laser & Punch, we can provide powder coating for many different metals to give it a much more robust protective layer than standard paint.
